Four Score Reunion Tour

Forty years ago this month, six of us traveled to Europe (four of us for the first time). At the end of this week, Kerry, John, Steve, and I are heading back!

Here we are all together in Bonn, Germany. Since Steve had lived in Germany from fall '75 to fall '76, we had accommodations with the Gerhardts and some of their friends. Steve's friend and boss, Rolf, entertained us in his home and his wine cellar.

We planned to take a bike tour on the Rhine and Mosel Rivers, so the first few days were spent procuring bicycles. We set off in the rain that morning with high hopes and a wet map.

The poor weather failed to dampen our spirits and we spent the better part of a week biking along the river, stopping for lunch, and then biking again until we stopped to find a B&B.

What a trip! Kerry and John went on to London. The rest of stayed in Europe, driving from Germany to Austria, Switzerland, and France before traveling on to Ireland.
